WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY J?

A Live Table Read Fundraiser

A Night of Nostalgia and Laughter for Charity

Jodie Sweetin (FULL HOUSE) and Drew Seeley (ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY) led a cast of nostalgic stars in “What Ever Happened to Baby J?” a new Y2K boyband-obsessed comedy written by award-winning screenwriter Victoria Male. The event raised $7,000 to benefit the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children.

The event, a full-sensory Y2K-themed experience, was built around the cultural moment of millennial nostalgia. The table read included original music from Grammy-nominated Yan Perchuk, a raffle, and was livestreamed globally.

In “What Ever Happened to Baby J?”, Olivia Hughes discovers that her shy, stay-at-home husband Robbie, was once part of a huge millennial boy band after he goes missing. Now, she must team up with his old bandmates to find Robbie, before he's forced against his will to realize his worst nightmare – a reunion tour.

The event was produced by Male’s Lioness Den Productions, in partnership with Jennifer Smith from Rat Dance Party and the Always in the Club Foundation. It was sponsored by Reelworks Studios, VOcation, and The Successful Screenwriter.
